WHO ARE WE
Let me introduce Myself, my name is Chris Lake the Founder of GOFOPRO, a non-profit organization designed to help men and women that's recovering from drugs and alcohol and have been recently released from jail or prison reenter into society with a fresh start and a higher order of thinking. I know firsthand how hard it is to reenter into society with no path, no direction, and no one to help. I have experienced the crippling effects of drugs and alcohol and too have been incarcerated.

After years of struggling on the streets after being released from prison I decided to turn my life around. I enrolled in the Franklin Beauty Institute Barber program after a few short months I became a Licensed Barber. I later decided to open my own shop and become a barber instructor with Franklin Beauty Institute. I understand the mindset and I'm very familiar with the circumstance surrounding the lives of many of these individuals.​

That is why I founded GOFOPRO in 2021 to help reduce recidivism in the State of Texas and keep them men and women out of chains for good.​ GOFOPRO stands for God Owned, Family Operated Professionals and that is exactly who we are. A group of professionals who through tough times transform our lives and established a higher order of thinking giving us a second chance to reenter society.

We help men and women that's recovering from drugs and alcohol and have been recently released from jail or prison reenter into society with a fresh start and a higher order of thinking by helping them establish themselves a new professional in Barber and Cosmetology industry. ​

At GoFoPRO we are committed to long-term solutions to help people who sign up for our Barber & Cosmetology Re-Entry Program by helping treat addiction & address Incarceration recidivism by understanding the reasons behind it. We address the spiritual. mental. physical and financial needs that many men and women face upon being release from jail or prison.
We do everything in our power to help them succeed in breaking the cycle of addiction & incarceration. with We believe the right kind of help everyone is capable of healing and success when they establish a
